The beginning
Samraksha began in 1993 in the HIV sector, as part of the development organization Samuha. Today, we are an independently registered charitable trust.

We work to ensure that the most vulnerable can live safely, with respect, and with hope for the future.
- Engage with vulnerable individuals and communities, strengthening their ability to live with safety and respect, especially in relation to HIV.
- Care and support people living with and affected by HIV, ensuring dignity and a life without pain.
- Enable growth by empowering individuals and communities to embrace who they are and move toward their aspirations.
